Mr. Coleman has a bachelor's degree in Music Education with a vocal emphasis from Delta State University. He has been a music teacher for 32 years and is in his thirteenth year with St. Anthony Catholic School in Madison, MS. He is a level 3 Orff trained specialist with one level of Kodaly. Joseph has presented workshops all over the country and including the national American Orff Schulwerk Association conventions. Mr. Coleman was the recipient of the 2013 Music Educator of the Year, presented by the Mississippi Music Education Association. He is past president of the Elementary Division of MMEA and president of the Mississippi Orff Chapter. In his spare time he sings with the vocal ensemble, Concordia, an a cappella group based in Jackson.
