House System

Our St. Anthony House System is a unique program that builds community, develops leadership, and supports character education for students in all grades. Each year, as new students join our St. Anthony family, we place them in one of our twelve houses, and they stay there for their entire school career. Our houses meet monthly to discuss one of the Six Pillars of Character Education. Our fifth- and sixth-grade students lead these meetings by planning activities, facilitating discussions with other students, and modeling the highest character qualities.

In addition to our monthly meetings, students compete with their houses in different challenges each quarter and participate in House Games at the end of each year. These days, filled with relay-style games and activities, encourage sportsmanship and let students explore their talents, from athletics to puzzles that challenge them to think hard and solve problems.

Finally, our House System also helps families grow together. We place family members, including siblings, cousins, and parents, in the same house. This lets families enjoy major school events, such as Grandparents Day and our annual pet blessing, together without parents having to move from grade to grade.

Our house system is one of our most cherished programs and traditions at St. Anthony and a cornerstone of the family and community culture we have created.
